J-Hope, a member of BTS (BTS), made his debut as a Korean solo artist on the UK's official single chart.

J-Hope's "on the street / with J. Cole" entered the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 chart at number 37 on March 10.

The official single chart announced the entry, saying, "The K-pop phenomenon is currently suspended, but one of the BTS members is heading for a breakthrough solo moment."

"J-Hope became the first K-pop soloist in history to debut in the top 40 on the UK Singles Chart," music ranking site Chartdata said.

Previously, BTS member Jungkook and Charlie Puth's collaboration number "Left and Right" ranked 41st on the chart, Black Pink Rose ranked 43rd with "On The Ground," Psy ranked 61st with "That That," "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman," BTS Jean ranked 61st with "The Astronaut," and Lisa 68th with "Sugar vs. L.
