Actor Lee Min-ho topped the "2023 Overseas Korean Wave Survey (as of 2022).

On the 10th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with the Korea Culture Exchange Promotion Agency, announced the results of the "Overseas Hallyu Survey" to check the current status and spread of K-culture content in major overseas countries.

When asked, "Who is your favorite Korean actor now?" 9.1% of the 25,000 respondents picked Lee Min-ho. Gong Yoo (2.7%), Hyun Bin (2.4%), Song Hye-kyo (2.0%), and Lee Jong-seok (1.5) followed.

The "Overseas Hallyu Survey" examines 25,000 Korean cultural content experienced men and women aged 15 to 59 in 26 countries around the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, and Japan, as objective indicators.

Lee Min-ho, who has maintained the No. 1 Korean Wave actor favorite by foreigners from 2018 to 2022, has become a Korean Wave star with KBS2's "Boys Over Flowers" and has maintained his top spot with great love at home and abroad, including SBS' "The Heirs," SBS' "The Blue Sea Legend," SBS-Netflix's "The King: Eternal Monarch," and Apple TV+'s "Pachinco."

He is currently filming season 2 of Apple TV+ "Pachinco" in Toronto, Canada, after filming the drama "Ask the Stars."
