Girl group TWICE Chaeyoung apologized for wearing a T-shirt with a swastika symbolizing the Nazis.
Chae-young said on the 22nd, "I didn't properly recognize the tilted swastika in the shirt I wore." "I sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people because I couldn't confirm this even though I should have looked closely," he bowed.
On the 21st, Chae-young posted a photo of her daily life, which contained bassist Sid Vicious of the rock band Sex Pistols. But Vicious was wearing a T-shirt with a swastika on it.
Also called Hakenkreuz, this symbol represents Nazi Germany led by Hitler. It is still used as a symbol representing white racism, far-right neo-Naziism, and neofascism.
