Actor Lee Jung-jae was recently selected as one of the "10 Korean actors you must know" by Argentina's leading media, Lanacion.
Lanacion explained, "You can see it through the new series 'Acolate' series of 'Star Wars' worldviews, which is scheduled to air on Disney+, along with the representative work of actor Lee Jung-jae, who won the Emmy Award and the Actor's Union Award (SAG)."
In addition, Lee Jung-jae proved his global popularity by making his name in the "Foreign Hallyu Survey" conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the Korea International Cultural Exchange Agency to check the status and spread of K-culture and content in major foreign countries.
He was ranked second in the UK and third in the United States, Australia, France and Italy in the "Best Preferred Korean Actor" category. In addition, it was ranked at the top in Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Spain. In particular, "Squid Game," starring Lee Jung-jae, also topped the list of dramas favored by overseas consumers.
He created a worldwide syndrome by playing the role of Sung Ki-hoon in "Squid Game," which was released in 2021.
