Regarding rumors that singer and actor IU received 500 million won per episode for her performance in Netflix's original "I Got You" (written by Lim Sang-chun and directed by Kim Won-seok), an official at EDAM Entertainment said it was not true.

"I was tricked" is a work that unravels the adventurous lives of "Desired Rebel" Ae-soon and "Palbulchul Mousse" Gwan-sik, born in Jeju in the 1950s. Lim Sang-chun, who wrote the dramas "Baek-hee is Back," "Fight for My Way," and "When the Camellia Blooms," and director Kim Won-seok, who directed "Misaeng," "Signal," "My Mister," and "Arthdal Chronicles Season 1," worked together, and IU and Park Bo-gum made headlines.

In particular, the production cost that is similar to or exceeding the "Arthdal Chronicles" is a hot topic. It costs between 50 and 60 billion won. As Jeju Island is the central background, the cost of building the set and the cost of working in the second half such as CG (computer graphics) are significant. Detailed production cost items such as actor appearance fee, writer's manuscript fee, and directing fee are also at the top.

According to nearby reports, the combined performance fees of IU and Park Bo-gum are more than 500 million won per episode, but not more than 1 billion won. That much is by far the overwhelming amount among OTT original recently.
