According to YG Entertainment on the 7th, the music video for Lisa's solo album title song "Larisa" surpassed 600 million views on YouTube at 1:30 a.m. that day. It has been about a year and seven months since it was released on September 10, 2021. It is the fastest music video of a K-pop female solo artist who has reached the same number of views.
The music video for "Larisa" was officially registered in Guinness with 73.6 million views within 24 hours of its release. Since then, it has achieved 100 million views in two days, 200 million views in 13 days, 300 million views in 48 days, 400 million views in 121 days, and 500 million views in 289 days, continuing its new record march.
The "Money" Exclusive Performance Video also exceeded 800 million views on YouTube at 7:10 a.m. on the same day, about a year and seven months after its release. Even though it was a solo performance video, not an official music video, BLACKPINK joined the 800 million view list for the 11th time in its career thanks to steady love from global fans.
A month after its release, the song made an unusual sensation of reversing major charts around the world, reaching the top of iTunes Top Song charts in 66 countries. It also charted on the UK's official single Top 100, US Billboard Hot 100, and Pop Airplay charts for 8 weeks, 2 weeks, and 3 weeks in a row, winning the "K-pop Women's Solo First" title.
BLACKPINK is currently conducting the largest world tour of a K-pop girl group with about 1.5 million people.
